Fibre Formation

Raw swakara changes during the dressing process. Follicle arrangement influences fibre formation; there are two main formations, Drawn and Lyre. Each of these two react differently to the dressing process, therefore, to reduce post dressing variation, we separate the black regular-sized labelled goods into Drawn and Lyre, and this forms the basis of the modern Swakara assortment.

Straight fibre, including feather, and ribbed

S-formed fibre, including bands and pipes
